Manchester City attacking midfielder Phil Foden will be out for about a month with a foot injury.
Foden suffered a foot injury in the final training session with England ahead of their Euro 2020 final against Italy on July 11. That leaving the player without training with Manchester City in pre-season.
The Telegraph reports that Foden’s injury is unusual. And Manchester City’s medical team will have to be treated very carefully. It should not make the injury more severe than before.
Foden is expected to be out for around a month or until the end of the international program next month. That means the 21-year-old will miss his first three Premier League games against Tottenham hot spur, Norwich City and Arsenal
However, Pep Guardiola is unlikely to be affected much. Because of the new move of Jack Grealish for a fee of 100 million pounds from Aston Villa, who played the same position.
